PARIS – At the second edition of the Salons du Livre d'art des Afriques / African Literature and Arts festival, being held at La Colonie, Paris from October 18–21, 2018, Sabah Haider will speak on the panel "Acts of Publication in the Maghreb and Middle East" on Friday October 19th at 11am.
Her talk is entitled "Transnational solidarity networks from below and the radical post-colonial: Configuring anti-imperialism, the PLO, and literary expression in Beirut during the civil war." // "La solidarité transnationale des dessous et la post-coloniale radicale: la configuration de l'anti-impérialisme, de l'OLP et de l'expression littéraire à Beyrouth pendant la guerre civile". Her talk will include visual material (video and photo) that she has collected and produced during her Phd fieldwork.
